Things get done when you have well defined written goals, a clear pathway to acheive those goals, and a recorded written protocol to keep you on track. It is also important that the process of goal setting and goal tracking does not get too time consuming or overwhelming. This also sets a good example for children as written goal setting, planning, and tracking can be used positively in many other areas of their lives.
The Personal Web Page is simple. There are 6 sections.
Section 1: Access this section weekly. If you have funded your Coffee Can Savings PlanSM appropriately click on that week and you will get a gold star.
Section 2: Prior to the beginning of each month enter your Coffee Can Savings PlanSM savings goal for that month. At the end of the month record the actual money saved. See how close the actual came to the goal. At the end of the month transfer the money from your coffee can into your DRIPS.
Section 3: Value of your Portfolio prior to Jan 1 and July 1; enter the goal for the total value of the DRIPS in your mini mutual fund DRIP Portfolio, then enter the actual value at the end of that 6 month period.
Section 4: Money added to your DRIPS - Record the date, the amount of money and the stock symbol, each time you deposit money into your DRIP.
Section 5: Money withdrawn from program. If you withdraw money from the DRIPS for any reason, taxes, personal, etc. record the date, the amount and the stock symbol.
Section 6: DRIPS in your personal mini mutual fund. This section is to record the DRIPS in your mini mutual fund - The stocks and their symbol - Just to keep a good handle on the stocks in your DRIP Portfolio. Clicking on the stock or symbol in this section will link to your personal financial history - deposits/withdrawls - of that DRIP.

A critical point to note, many individuals hate to keep records and chart stuff, myself being one of those individuals. Your personal web page is nice, but you do not need it. You can just fund your coffee can, then transfer that money to your DRIPS without recording anything, and you will eventually become a multimillionaire DRIP investor. It may get your accountant a little bit crazy when he / she is doing your taxes, but it will work for you. DOING IT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN CHARTING IT.
Section 1 - Click on the date to get a gold star if you have funded your Coffee Can Savings PlanSM for the specific week in the box.
